Alright, so here’s what happened to me the last 2 weeks:

On valentines day I asked this girl to go to dinner with, and by God’s grace she said yes. Interesting, I know. So, we went out and we really enjoyed ourselves. That was a Friday night. Sunday I found myself taking this girl to church with me cause she needed a ride. And I just happen to have my Jetta! (hehe) so I took her. This girl is cool, really cool..

hhhmmm.. so then, uh?.. I started hanging out with this girl a lot more in the past 2 weeks, and I realized that she’s amazing. Some might say that this thing kind of moved fast, but I would have to disagree, I think it moved at the perfect speed. At the speed at which God wanted. But you know what was cool?.. I was talking to my friend Tristan and we were talking about her and I said something about her being “My She”… well that plays in to this a little bit. Yesterday (3-1-03).. I asked this girl if she wanted to go to Jamba Juice and get some Smoothies, what she didn’t know was that I was going to the flower shop to get some daisies and then take her to the lake to ask her to be “my she.” Well, to make a long story short, I took her to Castaic lake, and then asked her to be my she, of which she answered “…I want to be your she..”. Of course I was the most happy person ever!!!!!! I felt good about it… really good. So, now I have this girl in my life.. and she’s rockin’! 🙂 So you can see her to your right. >>>> she’s there!! ok.. uh?. HI BETHANY’S PARENTS!! and lil’ bro and lil’ sis! heheheehe.. ok bye for reals.

So, this week I got sick. Yeah, it was dumb. I couldn’t freakin’ get better, so I had to drive myself like 40 minutes away and go to the doctors. Then I had to wait and the drug store for 30 minutes to get the drugs I needed. oh man, not good. But this medicine gives me the worst stomach ache, I just can’t stand it, but enough about that. And yes, that says, “Sherman Jr.” on the picture. Just to let you know.

Soo.. Valentines Day this week? Did anyone have any plans? Cause I sure did. I had a hot date. It’s true, just ask me, I’ll tell you about it. I took this really cool girl named Bethany out to dinner and then we went and hung out in Santa Monica for awhile! It was a ton of fun! But seriously, get this! She full on made me a CD! It’s got some rockin’ tracks on it! Geeze! It’s great. Everything from Elton John to Foo Fighters! Oh man, you kids would love it. But, she’s a really cool girl. Thanks Bethany!

uh?.. what else.. oh, I know, work. Let’s just talk about work for a little bit. I think it’s interesting to note that I work for a pretty large company: Starbucks Coffee. And man, the past couple days at work, have been pretty goofy. The people I’ve been working with have just been getting under my skin. I’m not even sure why?!! It’s probably the fact that my boss is about to move to North Carolina and everyone is all getting nuts on me! I don’t know.. weird. ahh.. work will never change.

School is going good though.. I’ve been doing my best to stay on top of my reading and such, and things have been going well for me. I love this school it’s really really amazing.. but, I think I’m going to go now. I really have to get some English Comp. done right now, and it’s getting late.. so you kids have a good evening/morning 😉

You know what’s funny? This photo says nothing about the mood I’m in. I’m in a great mood, but there is something about black and white that just gets me every time. A picture says a thousand words right. Well, this picture is saying all lies, cause seriously, I LOVE BEING ALIVE!!!! YEAH!!

Classes have been going great! I’m actually working like 3 weeks ahead on some of these books I have to read for my Youth Culture class. I love that class, it freakin’ rules. Seriously, it’s like all the cool Youth Ministry kids came to one class and are hanging out and talking about youth culture, I love it. My roommate and a bunch of my friends are taking it too, so that’s rockin’ and rollin’. uh?.. what else. I think about love a lot. I don’t know if it’s like love for a girl, or for God, or for my car, or something that’s material, but I think about it. I’m always thinking about things. Recently a friend pointed out that I always say stuff like “.. You know what’s weird.. ” and then I say something that I’ve been thinking about. It’s interesting, I do a lot of thinking. Which is a really good thing. I’m not just wasting my brain, I’m using it, and I’m thinking about things, even when they’re weird things, I’m still thinking. Think about it! 🙂

I don’t really know where that all came from, but I’m just typing. I’m listening to good music!! OH MAN! I almost forgot! So get this.. The other day at work I got a dollar bill that said “www.wheresgeorge.com… follow me across the USA!!..” and I was like, ok?.. So I went to www.wheresgeorge.com and it’s freakin’ great!! I typed in the serial number for my bill and stuff and I was the second person to do this certain dollar and the first person was some girl in Utah. Oh man, go there and check it out, it’s like my new favorite thing! I like it. ok, I’m done. bye.

I’m sitting here in US History class and I decided that I was going to go ahead and make an update on my site. I found this picture and that it was interesting to see a side of me that sometimes you might not see unless you are actually watching me when I’m on live.

We’re discussing the influences of labor unions in early American history. It’s not that interesting, but I can handle it. By the time I get out of this class I will have completed my history requirements for college entirely during my freshman year. haha.. sorry, I just got off track, this kid in class is trying to name all these presidents from like 1845 to 1896. It’s good stuff. I’ve never heard of half these guys. We just clapped for him, that was really good. He got them all! wow.. anyways..

uh?.. I walked in to class late for this the first time because some friends and me went to Starbucks and got some coffee. haha.. coffee at 12:45 in the afternoon, I love it. Only in college.. I think?. never mind. But I finished my Iced, Grande, 2-Pump White Mocha (which I used to get a lot, but haven’t gotten in a very long time) and now I’m just sitting here.

On Saturday I’m going to be in a wedding. I wrote a song for my friend Jamie and now I’m playing it in her wedding this weekend. I think it will be good. My friend Stephen is going to play piano for me and I’m going to play guitar and I think it’s going to be good. I hope she likes it! CONGRATS JAMIE and STEVEN!!! (they’re so cute! 🙂

Whelp, I’m back. Yep, I’m back in my dorm room and ready for second semester. My break was very interesting, but I must say it was a very good chance to take some time off and just relax. I did work a lot, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t have a good time. oh man, it’s good to be back though. Today we spent most of the day reorganizing all of our stuff in the apartment. It was good, we think that our kitchen is so much better. It’s a lot better for food preparation, in our opinion. uh?.. something weird is up with my eye. I have this thing on it. It sucks, I mean, it doesn’t really hurt, but it’s annoying. I don’t like it. It looks weird too. grr.. but what can I do?.. I took the next few days off work to attend “Truth and Life Conference” at school. It’s mandatory, but it’s really good. We had our first session this evening and we have two large sessions each day for the next 2 days. It’s going to be good. I already have started to enjoy the speakers. This picture is one of my favorites right now. It really has captured how I am feeling at the moment. Cause it’s interesting. I am feeling perfectly fine and actually just cleaned my desk and am in a good mood, but there’s still something missing. You know? I think this picture captures that. Maybe everyone just thinks it’s exactly like the last picture, but I think it’s different. And once again, it’s my site, my rules, my cam.

I think I miss home. I think I’m tired. I think I’m ready for my break. Did you ever think you would be where you would be today? I mean, really, think about it. I don’t even live with my parents anymore?.. what happened? I’m not even exactly sure how that worked out, or even why. Do you kids miss home? If you are home, do you ever miss your friends who aren’t home? just a thought.

Tonight at 6 I went to my boss’s house for a shift-lead dinner he threw for the managers at my store. It was very fun. I really enjoyed myself. He gave us all day-planners as a small gift, it’s pretty cool. And after dinner we all played Balderdash. That was hilarious, people were making up the funniest words and phrases and stuff. It was great.

You know what was weird. Tonight, after the dinner which ended at 10, I had to go to work out of dress-code and close the store. My boss couldn’t get any body to cover the closing shift because we were all at his house, so I had to go and close the place. It was weird because I was in sandals and shorts. I don’t know, whatever. Finals are coming next week and tomorrow is my last day of classes. So pray for me, that I will do well studying this weekend as I have some extra time off from work. You kids are awesome, hope your lives are going well. see yah..

ps. during Christmas break we get kicked out of our dorms, so I have no idea about my cam updates during that time. so don’t get mad if you don’t hear from me from Dec. 13th to January 13th. ok?.. just a little warning. bye now.

Anyways, tonight I closed at work. It was the longest close ever. Not because I had to stay longer or anything like that, but the fact that there was like 2 customers per hour and for the last hour we did nothing. And when I’m working it’s not like I can just shut everything down. I have to do everything by standards and stuff, so it makes it tough sometimes. So, I got home about a half an hour ago and I’m tired as crap. That’s why I didn’t take a new picture, because I look all tired right now and didn’t really feel like wasting a good picture on a sucky looking face. lol?.. that was a weird sentence.

It’s all Skyler’s fault. That guy is always trying to make things bad for me. Ok, I was kidding about that, he really doesn’t try to screw things up for me I was just joking :). But I am tired, and I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow. I might skip chapel. We’ll have to see though. I can only miss 2 more of those before something bad happens to me. But I’m not exactly sure what bad is supposed to happen?.. hhm.. I am skipping on Wednesday for sure. I think there are only 2 more chapels after that, so maybe I will skip tomorrow.. we’ll have to find out in a few short hours. I need sleep, you kids have a good day and enjoy your Thanksgivings if I don’t get to talk to you before I leave.

Today was different. Not sure why? I had a quiz, and I wasn’t stressed, and I did well on it. I had 3 classes, and I didn’t sleep in any of them. The class I usually don’t like the most, was probably the best class of today. I have an hour until work, but I am not stressed about closing the store tonight. Hey, even my hair turned out ok today! :).. (oh man, I’m going to get some emails about that last sentence ;0)

But seriously, I’m sitting here listening to music in my apartment by myself and I am just enjoying the thoughts going through my head. Last night I wanted to write some poems or something, I haven’t done that in a while. I guess I haven’t had or made time to do those kinds of things. I really think that I should start making time for other things. I’m not saying that I should study less, but there have been nights where I just sat around. Maybe sitting on our couch just watching the Christmas tree, or watching the guys play video games. I don’t know, I guess I’m always wanting a little change in my life. Some things should never change, but small things, yeah, I could use a change in them sometimes.

I think I am going to head out, but I want you kids to know that I appreciate how you support my site. I’m glad everyone enjoys it. Hope your week has started off well, see you in a bit.

So I found this picture in my files today. I know it’s not even close to the date, but I thought it was a good one. I was at my dads work in that photo and I found that sign and I thought it was funny.

This weekend I went home and actually stayed for a couple of days. My parents are supposedly going to be moving to another town this week, but we’ll see what happens. Throughout my life they have said many things that are similar to this, but most of the time it never happens. But to be honest, this time they actually sound like they are going to do it. So, when I went home my house was completely empty, it was weird. so anyways..

But getting back, so, before I went home my friend Zach, and Sara B. came down. (don’t confuse Sara B. with any other Sara(h).. they have “h’s” in her name, but she doesn’t). And they came down and watched the opening basketball game at my school, which was cool because the last point they did an alley oop and it was it awesome. I felt good about it. uh?.. I’m going to go now. see ya

Hi. Man, this is great. I’m back in the game, and I feel good, real good. Check out that photo, oh man, it’s great. I went to the library the other day and I was relaxing and working on homework, but get this: I stayed in the library from 1:00P-7:30P (only taking a break for food from 5:00-5:30).. can you believe that?.. it was fun though. I got a ton of studying done. hhm..

Enough of that. How about you kids? I haven’t heard much from anyone. Everyone is either too busy (like me) or they are just not emailing anymore. SIGN MY GUESTBOOK.. or do something that let’s me know “Shay, I’m still here for you.” I just don’t feel the love these days. :(.. so sad.. so…. .sad..

It’s hot in this room right now. The weather here went from straight rain for 3 days to 80 degree, nice spring weather?.. isn’t that weird? Oh, going back to the library thing; I’m finding that it REALLY is a great place to study. Cause everyone is doing the same thing, and it’s quiet, well, at least until some guy sees someone he knows and they decide to share everything from birth to present with each other. oh man, I hate that. But sometimes I just put on my headphones and listen to music while doing work, it shuts out everything that’s going on around me.. ok, I’m outta here, you kids have been great..
