I don’t know. I was just sitting here thinking about things and I just thought maybe I’d write something kind of interesting this evening.

I was thinking about the word “imagine.” It’s kind of an interesting word in the fact that I can imagine anything I want about it. Or I can imagine anything I want about anything. Have you ever imagined something? Of course you have, but what was it like when you saw it for real? Did you ever imagine what it would be like to go on your first plane ride or get your first kiss? Maybe what it was like to drive a car for the first time or go to high school for the first day? Did it turn out like you’d hoped? Do you think your life has turned out like you hoped it would?

Because if it hasn’t, then you are missing something. Missing something important. Things happen every day to people, and we don’t’ know why. Innocent people are dieing and we don’t know why. Some of us don’t even care. It’s not because we’re insensitive (most of us), but just the fact that we weren’t there, or we didn’t hear about it or even just the plain and simple fact that it is happening every day so now we are just numb to it. Why are we doing this? What’s happening on this earth? Personally, I think that things are great! Yeah, sucky stuff happens, but time changes these things. People change these things.

I know I’m not a professional or whatever, but I really think that you should dig deeper in to this life. God has so much in store for you. All you have to do is ask Him to show you what that might be. Maybe you won’t find out right away, that’s ok, just pray hard, and stay focused. Be obedient. I have given my life to Jesus Christ. He is my rock. My hard place. I will continue to love his every command.

I don’t my thoughts are jumbled, I don’t even think any of this made sense. But you know what, it’s my life, my webpage, and another thing, I didn’t make you come here and read this. You did it on your own :)! But thanks, I need the support! Bye

So, who would of that you get tons of new, free stuff when you graduate. Not to mention the fact that my 18th birthday is only 2 days after graduation! It’s great, so check out my graduation present! I love it, it’s a new desk, it’s good.

We drove down to Burbank and picked it up today. It’s a nice new desk, a lot smaller than my other one which is really nice. Plus, it has these cool feature likes a swivel shelf thingy, and a spot to hold my computer on the side, near the bottom. It’s way cool!

Anyways, yesterday I took my second to last test of my entire high school life. I took my English final, which was surprisingly easy thanks to my friends Kira and Zach, who helped me study! We had a good time! Well, the way I worded that makes it kind of sound like they helped me cheat, but that’s completely false. So don’t go off tellin’ people lies about me! uh?.. After the final a bunch of us went over and ate breakfast at Denny’s, it was fun too! Then after that there was a yearbook signing party at my school and I know that there were a ton of memories made there.. it’s getting all sad now.. everyone’s going there separate ways, everyone’s calming down. I don’t know, it’s just sad. I guess that’s the only way I can describe it. After the yearbook thing, a few of us headed over to my friend Sara’s house and we partied down! We cooked hot dogs, and drank soda, and had a POOL PARTY! It was a blast! I hung out there ALL day! Totally fun, thanks Sara!

Well, I guess that’s my life. I gotta get up early tomorrow for worship team at church and then write some more stuff in a yearbook. Yearbook is kind of a good band name? Maybe someone has it? I don’t know.. weird. bye now.

I know it’s been a few days since you kids have heard from me, but you’re just going to have to deal with it!.. I have had a lot of crap going on! this senior year stuff can get wild and nuts on you and you don’t have to do anything, but go along with the ride.. but.. all that to say.. I have some good news.. :).. oh man..

I was ACCEPTED TO THE MASTERS COLLEGE!!! Oh man, so I am most likely going there!.. it’s the coolest.. as of right now my intended major is Music Ministry.. it could have an emphasis on Youth Ministry.. or something like that.. it’s going to be cool though! I can’t wait. And that’s the whole reason behind this picture at your right.. it’s a photo of the top of the mountain that the college sits on, they have a cross at the very top where you can chill and relax a little. Kinda fun?.. whatever.

I’m really tired right now.. I think I am going to get some sleep. I have some other stuff to tell you though, like the fact that it’s only 9 days until my birthday! WOOHOO.. on June 15th.. I’ll be the big 1-8.. 18! WOOOHOOO.. ok bye.

Ok ok, so apparently, since I own this whole “shaycam” thing, I’m taking the world by storm. You kids have no idea how great it is to come home from school, sit down, and see about 6 emails just in response to yesterdays journal entry. Everyone had some really great things to say!

Alright everyone, I’ve been thinking. Been chatting a little a bit with a few friends about this, but really. I really I would like t know what the heck you kids want to see on this site. No joke, I need you kids to email me at shay@shaycam.com and let me know! OK!!?! TELL ME WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT! ok.. done with that.

I was just sitting here thinking.. I’m not exactly sure about what.. That’s probably why things are so tragic for me all the time. ok, I don’t know about tragic, but that’s a fun word.

I don’t know where to start. You see, I think about what I want to say, then I’m like “ahh.. who gives?.. ” so whatever. I’ll just type away.

Thursday night my senior class went to Grad-Night at Disneyland. It was a pretty enjoyable night, long, but enjoyable none the less. If you don’t know anything about Grad-Night, it’s supposed to be this all night party or whatever at Disneyland, yeah well, it wasn’t EXACTLY that, but we did dance, and jump, and skip and play.. so if you can call that a party?.. I don’t know. We got back at 9:00 AM from that I and a few of my friends went a checked out my friend Kira’s and my project at the art festival here in town. We got first place! It was awesome, if I can get a pic of that project I’ll post it on shaycam sometime. That was the highlight of my morning yesterday.

And last night I went to a wedding The wedding was really nice, they had lots of cool stuff there, and if was a girl, eh?.. I don’t know what I’d think, but it would probably be something like “.. aww.. how nice..” haha.. that’s funny. nevermind. I’m dumb. Now, I sit here with little sleep.

Also, my belt broke. yeah, busted in two, I’m sad. got $9 so I can buy a new one? ok, send it over.

Cam… ShayCam

Oh man, wild times.
I can’t even begin to explain the amount of stuff I have been doing in the past few weeks. I’m sorry for not posting a journal, it’s just things have been going crazy around here. Let me start uh?.. here:

Well, about two Friday’s I lead worship at school for the very last time. It was sad, I was sad, just plain’ old sad. I really enjoyed myself though and it’s been a great year. But that’s that. Also, the Saturday after that, we did our play that I have been talking about for so long. It was a ton of fun, really enjoyed myself. We did a great job, and the overall opinion is that it was really good, so that’s cool.

Then, there’s this Friday (May 17th or yesterday). We had “senior chapel” at school. And that’s just where all the seniors get to run chapel. We had kids doing testimonies and things, and music and dancing, it was awesome, but once again, really sad. It’s all coming to an end. 🙁 But that’s not all, there’s more!

So, yesterday was also our annual dance that is put on by the parents of our high school. Oh man, we had a blast! It was awesome. But we started the evening off with dinner with about 19 other people besides us. We went to a nice Italian restaurant. Very good! Then got to the dance about 9:00 and stayed until about 12:00. From there we all drove over to a friends house, hung out, relaxed, sang music, went swimming, etc. Around 3:30AM we started falling asleep at this house; all 20 or 30 of us. Then about 5:15AM someone went around waking people up to go to another friends house for breakfast! It was awesome, we were all tired and goofy and whatnot. But anyways, we ate, left, and then I got home about 8:00AM and fell asleep. Just got up about a half an hour ago. whew.. that was a lot, and that’s how things have been going. ok bye.

Sorry everyone. My internet got shut off cause we forgot to pay the bill. It’s not a problem though, except for all you kids who continually watch me. But whatever. Anyways, I really don’t have a lot of time right now to discuss the situation, but my life has been going nuts. I think I’ve told everyone before that I am in a play and, well, the play is this weekend and man, it’s coming down to the wire. We are getting all the final stuff done and getting all our cues worked out. But it’s just crazy! I like it! haha.. whatever..

I need to go study some of my English, so I’ll chat with you kids later.. night.

P.S. I’m paid through May, so I won’t be getting off the internet for at least another month :). (That’s just a small side not for you people who were having withdrawals from shaycam)

I’ve been in kind of a goofy mood this morning. I don’t know why. But I went last night and hung out with a bunch of friends and we watched the movie “The Sandlot.” It was great. Then later we played twister and stuff. That was a blast. Oh man, the testosterone in that room was nuts! haha.. anyways..

This morning my dad came in my room at about 8:30AM and woke me up to get some breakfast down the street. I was thinking we were going to take the car, because it’s cold outside (we can walk there, it’s like a block away), but they have this “Soapbox derby” going on, and it’s rad. These kids get pushed down the main street and they cruise in to the finish line. I like it. ah. I have a long day ahead of me. I am doing sound for our school talent show and I have to be there from 12 – somewhere past 9.. it’s going to be loooong. But oh well. bye.
