I’m almost done with this semester. It’s been a bit tough since I have been so sick. But I am trying to finish as well as I can. My finals aren’t going to be too bad, so I’m pretty stoked about that. My only real final assignment left is my sermon on Titus 3 which I’ll be giving on tuesday (the 7th). You can pray for me if you think about that!

Otherwise things are going well. I’m in my World Lit. class right now and we’re talking about Asian worldview. It’s been fun. Anyways.. small post today, but it needed to be done. peace.

Came to my parents for thanksgiving this year. They live in the desert. I grew up in the desert my entire life until I went to the Master’s college. This past weekend they got a freak snow storm though and so those pics above are of the mountains outside of my house and the other one is just a desert snow scene that Bethany took from the car when we were coming here.
I had written some other stuff here, but the stupid blog server is all bogged down. So.. Happy Thanksgiving!.. (ps. I went to a place and ate some food.. there was like 4 professional chefs.. and then I went and saw “National Treasure”… go see it).. bye.

do you remember when you were school and there was that one really cool teacher that would play music during tests and class? I remember that. I was just thinking about that because I was just sitting here and listening to music and doing homework. college kids do it a lot. I don’t know, whatever. I went to the basketball game tonight. we lost, by 2. It made me sad. I really shouldn’t be attending high level stressful basketball games in my condition. what’s my condition? glad you asked. I have sinusitus. If you want more info, just search it on google. seriously, I bet you didn’t even think it existed. but you know what? I went to the doctor for the second time this week and they are talking surgery… seriously, no joke. they have to drain my sinuses. ok.. it’s probably going to freakin’ hurt. I’m sad, but I’d rather hurt once then ever day. <- sounds like a good emo song title "I'd rather hurt once then every day." I think I'll write it.. yeah.. that would be great. yet, right now I have no emotion. the pain in my sinuses is enough for me to take pain killer, so i did. one more thing.. that seriously was the most interesting combination. I mean, the fact that USC played The Master’s College (where I attend) was really interesting. Two of my three roommates play for our basketball team and a bunch of us went down and watched them play at USC tonight. We got slaughtered, but that’s beside the point. Let’s review the facts: USC student attendance 1,000,000,000,000,000 (rounded to the nearest biltrillkilltonth) and Master’s (maybe 1500 on a good year). So I think the final score showed us having half the points they did, but I think we played well and the guys really like the competition. Later we just did some hangout time with all the kids. we tried to go to bob’s big boy but it didn’t work out. hour long waiting list with 9 people isn’t gonna get the job done. so we decided to do the next best thing and go to the nearest starbucks (right next door). we laughed and giggled and basically took the place over. it made me very happy. but hey. I am taking vicodin right now so anything could seriously make me giggle. i guess that’s all for me. and if you’re wondering why I am taking vicodin, well ask your doctor about sinusitus. ok bye.

today we had off because it was prayer day at school. one whole day where all the school does is pray. nothing is required, but the school does provide places and things to pray about at specific times. I just got back from the music part. the band that I play in at church played worship music and I played drums. it was a good time. we played four sets of four and prayed in between those sets. I like those kinds of things. just a time dedicated to singing and praying. it really doesn’t get much better. I mean. That’s my view of heaven I guess. Praising the God of the universe for eternity. sounds good to me. I mean, he saved my life.. he rescued me.. and now I have the hope of eternity with Him in heaven. man. why would anyone pass that up?

It’s been a long time coming for my best friend Zach’s band.. that’s what I’m talking about.

Check it out. Last night I went down with my best friend Zach and the band (www.dizmas.com) and they started recording their first full-length record! It was surreal. I’m not kidding. I was totally pumped. I went down to take pictures of them and just hang out and they were starting to record the drum tracks. Obviously there is only so much I can tell you because of the copyright laws and everything, but I can say that the album is gonna rock! The picture you see here is of nick (the bass player) and me and I put the camera in the refrigerator and took a pic! I felt good. I’m back.. home again. It was fun to watch our video with my girlfriend and my friends and look at all my pictures! I’ve got so much work to do right now! Really, I should be studying.. I gotta roll! I’ve basically got my pics up so give me some time to upload them all and make it work.. don’t worry. I’m on top of this stuff.. peace..

Yesterday was a rock and roll time. Tristan, Justin, and me actually met up with one of our other friends Steve and we took Seattle by storm! It seriously was so much fun. We’ve got video and pics and all sorts of media.. but let me just say this. If you are ever up here in Seattle, you have to check out that Seattle Public Library! oh man, it’s so cool. Hopefully when I get back my pictures will tell the story…

But all that to say that today we say goodbye to our friends in the northwest.. It’s been a good trip. fun times. great moments. lots of memories. Our plane leaves in only 2 hours and right now we’re getting ready to leave for the airport. (don’t worry it’s only 10 minutes away). So.. I gotta roll because Justin has to check his email. you kids have a great Lord’s Day and I’ll see yah soon!

So we’ve been chilling up here in the great northwest and its been a really good time. But it seriously has been a long couple of days. We’ve been waking up around 5:00 every morning and getting done around 7pm. But it has been an enjoyable time at the seminary and I really appreciate their hospitality.

Anyways.. today it’s just going to be Tristan, Justin, and me and we’re heading to Seattle! No parents! No legal-guardians! No hosts! No role-models! No chaperones! No anybodys! Just us! Its gonna be freakin’ awesome. We’ve got our cameras all charged up… we’ve got new tapes for the video and a clean disk for the still shots. Soon we’ll be taking a boat across the water and our journey will begin. Our stops you might ask?… Well this is some: Ivar’s (for some sweet fish and chips and clam chowder), REI (for the complete outdooor experience), Rudy’s Barber Shop (for the best haircut money can buy), Seattle Library (for the most glass that any library has), Pike’s Place Starbucks (for the original Starbucks experience), Pike’s Place Market (for the flying fish and big buff guys that catch em’), and much much more!! We’re pumped.. I can’t wait to get back and show you kids my pics.. it’s going to be awesome!! Alright.. that’s all.. I’m outta here.. you kids have an excellent Saturday!
