I’ve shared before that my good friend Zach Zegan is the lead singer of a band called Dizmas, and they are currently serving in a very unique and special ministry in Czech Republic. The video below is from a few of the guys in the band and really explains what they are doing day-to-day and I thought for those of you who have supported or know Zach and the band, then this would be a great way to hear their hearts and what God is doing in that country.

SEE: “Autumn Scenes” on The Big Picture
If you’re not regularly reading and seeing The Big Picture, make sure and add it to your RSS reader. The photos they put together are fabulous (and not to mention HUGE) and I find that it regularly gives me a little overview of what’s going on around the world. This week they put together a set of photos called “autumn scenes” that just really bring out the full colors of fall. Definitely take a few minutes to browse through these beautiful images.

We went last weekend and it was well worth it! Both movies are fabulous and are pretty much becoming Disney classics, and the way Disney has put together the whole two film thing is great. We’re talking two movies for the price of one! The glasses are comfy (and will fit over any regular glasses) and the films are hilarious–even if it’s your third or fourth time seeing them. We had the luxury of seeing them at the ArcLight theater (I even got a hot dog delivered to my seat), but if you don’t have one of those nearby I’m sure your favorite theater will do. There’s only 6 days left to see em’ so hurry up!

I do not say this lightly: Sleeping At Last is in my top five of all time favorite bands. All three of their albums are stunning and lyrically they’re doing things that few other bands are doing or have ever done. Honest, creative, and thought provoking music and lyrics that you probably won’t find in the majority of the music you already own. They just released a new video (above) and I think it introduces you to them musically, but more importantly to their style and vision as both musicians and artists–I hope you enjoy it.
Buy all their albums on Amazon.com. No one album is better than the other; all are favorites.

Today is the official release of Paramore’s 3rd album titled Brand New Eyes, and from what I’ve previewed on their website…it’s gonna rock. I suggest you get yourself a copy. This band is good, no doubt about it.
